First Birthdays: Medieval Princess
Annabelle’s parents feared the sanctimommies would circle their castle with pitchforks and torches if they threw their one-year-old a Game of Thrones party. So they settled for their second choice, a Walking Dead themed–JK, I’m sure it’s been done though. With the show as inspiration, Princess Annabelle will be spending Saturday toddling through a yard set up to look like a medieval courtyard. Cardboard boxes painted and set up to look like a castle, adopt-a-dragon party favors, and a beanbag toss (through a large castle window, to make it easy on the toddlers) add to the ambience.

Food served will include turkey legs, deviled dragon’s eggs, mini sandwiches held together with plastic swords, and a colorful fruit salad labeled the Crown Jewels. If you want to borrow Annabelle’s look, read on. Please note that the Amazon links are affiliates and I would receive a commission if you purchased.
